For the second year in a row, transfer rumors

A new team has emerged that wants Bernardo Silva (29-Portugal).

After 12 years of "irrelevance," Bayern Munich is the new favorite. According to the Daily Star, the Bavarians are considering paying Silva's buyout clause of £50 million ($88 million). New Bayern coach Vincent Kompany is particularly keen on signing Silva.

Silva led Manchester City to the treble in the 2022-23 season. After that season, Silva wanted a new challenge. After all, he had won all the trophies he could with City.

There's no shortage of clubs who want Silva. FC Barcelona, his favorite club, Paris Saint-Germain, Real Madrid, and others are all in the hunt for the world-class technician. The deep-pocketed Saudi Arabian Professional Women's League is also interested in Silva.

"Silva is leaving City," said Spanish media outlet Sport, "and the buyout clause is £50 million." "Silva wants to move to Barcelona," the source added.

Silva has scored 66 goals and provided 66 assists in 355 official matches in a City shirt.

Silva has led City to five English Premier League (EPL) titles, one UEFA Champions League (UCL) title, one FIFA Club World Cup title, and two FA Cup titles.

Silva is a talent who can play all positions in the offense, including playmaker, left or right winger, and dropped striker. Silva's physicality, nimble dribbling, and sharp kicks are on display every game.

The soccer world will be keeping a close eye on him this summer.
